Holy Week at HGA!

Starting on Palm Sunday, March 29th - Holy Guardian Angels is going to be a very busy place with a lot going on! We will have our beautiful liturgies as well as events and offerings for fun, faith, and fellowship!

At 3:00 pm on Palm Sunday, we will show The Passion of the Christ movie in the main church. There is no registration required for this free event.

Parish Confessions will be on Palm Sunday, March 29th in the main church with several priests available beginning at 7:00 pm. Click below for a helpful "Guide to Confession," to help you prepare. If you are unable to make HGA's confessions time, please visit St. Catharine of Sienna on Monday evening or St. Ignatius on Tuesday evening - both beginning at 7:00 pm.

The Liturgy of the Lord's Passion will be at 3:00 pm on Good Friday, April 3rd.

The Good Friday Fish Dinner which is take-out only will be from 4-5:30 pm. Dinners must be preordered by Sunday, March 29th. Click here to order dinners.

At 6:30 pm we will gather to the right of the school by the pole building for the Annual Good Friday Outdoor Candlelit Stations of the Cross. These candlelit stations of the cross along a path in Gethsemane Cemetery will be an opportunity to bring focus to Our Lord’s Passion and Death.  If there is inclement weather, we will have regular Stations of the Cross in the church.  All are welcome!

On Holy Saturday we will have the blessing of the Easter Food Baskets in the Church at 11:30 am. Click the link below if you'd like directions on how to participate if you've never put together an Easter basket for the blessing before!

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 12:30 pm and the children will be grouped by age. Also - new this year, the Girl Scouts of Troop 11131 will be hosting a Bunny Bash with crafts, dancing, STEM projects, and more beginning at 12:45 pm. Registration is required for the Bunny Bash and information can be found below.

Easter Pie pick up will be from 2-4 pm in the School Social Hall. If you haven't already, click here to order your Easter Pies. Please be prompt!

Saturday evening at 8:00 pm will be the beautiful Easter Vigil when we welcome all of our new members into the church. Easter Sunday Mass Times will be at 8:00 am, 9:45 am, which will be the Children's Mass, and 11:30 am.
